Real Talk About Fitness Motivation

A big part of getting fitness results and maintaining them is having the motivation to keep executing the right behaviors daily.

Of course, you also need discipline. That will keep you going on the long run. But without motivation you will not even start anything.

Today I am going to share with you some tips that will help you to find your motivation(s). That will allow you to accomplish all your fitness results and maintain them for the long-term.

Ok, enough introductory talk!

Grab a cup of coffee or green tea and lets rock!

Focus: Stop Looking At Every New Shining Object

We are in the information age and the amount of stuff that is thrown at us every day is ridiculous.

If you stop to take a look at even one tenth of what people want you to see you are not going to accomplish anything in life.

Choose a course of action. FOCUS on it. Execute.

Lack of focus is the number one reason why people simply do not get to achieve their goals in fitness and in life in general.

At one moment they are trying a fad diet. Then some diet pill. TV fitness equipment. Fat burning gel. 7 minutes abs workout routine. Fasting … And the list goes on.

Trying several things at the same time simply will not work. Pick something and stick with it. Focus on trying FOR REAL, whatever weight loss or muscle-building solution you choose. Give it some time.

Then, if you really gave your best by following all the instructions properly but still can’t see any results, at this moment feel free to try something else.

But if you want something to work, you really have to focus on it. Go in with all your energy.

Respect Yourself: Take Care of Your Temple, Look at The Mirror

Your body is your temple. If you do not take it seriously you probably are not going to take anything else in life seriously.

The way you treat your body can say a lot about what type of person you are. If you do not respect yourself, why should others respect you?

Take care of yourself. You deserve it.

Take a look at the mirror every morning and if you are not satisfied with what you see, get out of the house and start running! Can’t run yet? Then walk as fast as you can.

Become someone you love and respect more than anyone else.

Purpose: What Do You Want to Accomplish?

Have a clear purpose. You need to know specifically what is it that you want to accomplish. That will make you wake up in the morning full of energy to take the necessary steps to move forward in your journey.

Most people these days are freaking scattered. They have no idea what they want out of life. So they have lives of quiet desperation, living like zombies seeking out for some type of stimulation to make them “happy” for a least a second or two.

Don’t be like most people.

Stand up and be a winner. You can do it. The only person who can set limits for your life is yourself.

Persistence: Never Give Up, The Road Will Get Rough

Listen, no matter what path you choose in life, you will have struggles.

Sooner or later you will want to just throw everything up and run away. Don’t do it. The tougher it gets, it means you actually are going into the right path. If it was easy everybody would be doing it, right?

If you need, take a step back, breath, clear you mind, and go back to the grind.

Like Rocky Balboa says (6th movie): “The world ain’t just sunshine and rainbows”

Just Do It: Start Now

Here is the reality. You are going to fail if you do not work hard. It’s really that simple.

You have to take action right now. Do something, I don’t care what it is. You need to get the “ball rolling”.

Do 30 jumping jacks. 10 squats. 5 push-ups. 1 pull-up.

I don’t care what it is. Just do something.

Alright, now I have to go out and do something too. Well, I will just run for an hour.
